February Meeting - Digital Dentures

Dr. Bryan McLauglin speaking on Digital Dentures

Dinner and CE credits will be provided.

Location: Clyde’s of Clarksville (at The River Club) 1150 Warfield Blvd

Dr. Bryan McLaughlin is a board certified prosthodontist practicing in Brentwood, Tennessee.  He has lectured across the country on the topic of digital dentures since 2016.  In 2017 his research won the American Prosthodontic Society’s Graduate Research Competition.  He has published two articles on the topic in prosthodontic journals, and he has served as a Key Opinion Leader for Avadent Digital Dentures.

Digital technology is driving progress in removable prosthodontics in the same way it did with fixed prosthodontics two decades ago.  Digital dentures offer the potential to improve the materials, work flows, and costs compared to traditional dentures.  This lecture will review the history of digital dentures, what products are currently available, review the relevant literature, and go over the different work flows available to providers, including the reference denture technique which can allow digital dentures to be the most profitable service in a dental practice.

Flipping Uncertainty into Security

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The volatility and confusion surrounding the last few years has impacted every business, including dental practices. Using real case studies and performance metrics, this course will empower dentists with the knowledge they need to evaluate their own practice and select the best path to reach financial freedom. Additionally, the course will discuss how private equity works in dental practices and when you should and shouldn’t consider it. Upon completion of this session, attendees should be able to:

Identify tax strategies to improve cash flow and support market volatility

Set a realistic business and personal financial plan to help meet your long-term goals, even through times of adversity
